HISTORY

For the past 60 years, the Hassouneh Family has been active in the field of Steel industry. During the 1960's, Eldest of the family, while alive, Mr. Assad Hassouneh started a trading company for steel, cement, and other building materials in Palestine. Moving forward, the son Mr. Yacoub Hassouneh being aware of the strategic significance of national steel industry for the Palestinian Economy and being devoted to his roots has successfully expanded the group to introduce and initiate various production facilities of steel products in Palestine for the first time.

Under the supervision of Mr. Yacoub the group has successfully built various plants to become a real steel producer. Such as, Deformed Steel Bars, Cut & Bend, Nail and Barbed Wires, Galvanised Wire, Mesh Welding, Rolling Mill, Steel Scrap Yards, and an Electric Arc Furnace Melt Shop. These activities and investments are operating and serving the Palestinian and Jordanian markets.
